This workshop is primarily targeting IT managers, Network managers, Software professionals and System administrators from various organizations like Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Software companies, Commercial banks and Educational institutions. Previous SecNet workshops have had participants from IBM, Microsoft, Indian Navy, National Stock Exchange(NSE), TCS, Patni Computers, VSSC(Vikram Sarabhai Space Center), RedHat India, and various academic institutions.
About SecNet 2005
SecNet 2005 focused on the latest techniques of network security, along with a lab sessions to give a practical experience of these techniques. Special emphasis was given to the topics like Cryptographic Protocols and their Verification, Cross Site Scripting, Iptables, Secure coding, Biometric Security, Fraud Detection Systems, Enterprise Security and Wireless Security.
