About Me

I am an applied data scientist at Amazon (India). I am also pursuing PhD at Department of CSE, IIT Bombay in July, 2014, under the supervision of Prof. Shivaram Kalyanakrishnan. I obtained my M.E. degree in System Science and Automation (SSA) in 2011 from Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. In 2009, I completed BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from Heritage Institute of Technology Kolkata.

I have almost three years of job experience as a software engineer.

Research Interest

My current area of research is Multi-Armed Bandit. It is a well-studied formalism in the field of decision making under the uncertainty. I am also interested in large-scale reinforcement learning. To know more about my research please click here.
