The Fifth National Conference on Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Image Processing and Graphics (NCVPRIPG) will be held at Patna, Bihar from 16 to 19 December, 2015. NCVPRIPG is being organized by the Indian Institute of Technology Patna in association with the Indian Unit for Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence (IUPRAI). NCVPRIPG aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from the allied areas of computer vision, graphics, image processing and pattern recognition, in order to promote communitywide discussions of ideas that will influence and foster continued research in the field. Over the years the conference has grown into a vibrant national conference with participations from many students and researchers in the field. Papers submitted to the conference must describe original research.Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

In submitting a manuscript to NCVPRIPG, authors acknowledge that no paper substantially similar in content has been or will be submitted to another journal, conference or workshop during the review period. In such a case the paper will be rejected without review. Reviewing will be doubleblind. Paper submissions will be handled electronically via the Microsoft CMT portal. Proceedings will be published by IEEE. Plagiarism and noshow policy of the publisher will be applicable.In addition to the main single track technical program, there will be Tutorials and a Doctoral Symposium.

Proceedings: The conference proceedings will be available digitally through IEEE Xplore.

Tutorials: Tutorials on the state-of-the-art topics related to the conference theme will be arranged along with the conference. Proposals for tutorials are welcome.

Doctoral Symposium: PhD students in the area of pattern recognition, image processing, computer vision, graphics, and related areas will have the opportunity to present their research work and interact with experienced researchers from academia, industry and research labs.
