- Scalable Software Defined Networking. We have developed techniques to scale SDN control plane capacity using techniques like hierarchical SDN controllers and offloading control plane to programmable dataplanes.
- Tools and frameworks for Network Function Virtualization. We have built a framework to ease VNF development, and a tool to identify performance bottlenecks in VNF deployments.
- A tool to emulate application performance on disaggregated memory architectures.
- WebQ: A solution to improve user experience with overloaded web servers.
We have also built a light weight HTTP load generator as part of this project.
- Understanding WiFi performance in dense scenarios, and diagonising WiFi health (in collaboration with Prof. Bhaskaran Raman, and AirTight/Mojo Networks).
- A tool to plan TV White Space (TVWS) deployments: report and code.
- Trace based application layer modeling in ns3: TraceReplay (NCC '16) and TraceReplay source code
